The following RULES AND REGULATIONS are issued for the information and guidance of families, memorial dealers and their agents. Final restrictions, specifications and approval shall be at the disecretion of  Cemetery Management.

 



I. PERMITS AND CHARGES

1-A: Installation of all memorials is subject to the approval of Management and a permit must be obtained from the Cemetery Office. Permits shall be issued between the hours of 9AM and 3PM during regularly scheduled work days. No holiday delivery available.

1-B: Charges for installation of a memorial shall be the prevailing Installation, Recording and Service Fees. All Fees are subject to change without notice.

1-C: The location, position and manner in which a memorial is to be installed on a grave, crypt, or niche shall be determined by the Rules and Regulations in effect at that time and entirely subject to the approval and under the supervision of the Management.

II. DELIVERIES

2-A: All memorials shall be delivered to the cemetery service yard no later than 3 PM on weekdays, excluding holidays, accompanied by the permit issued by the Cemetery Office after inspection and acceptance by Office personnel.

2-B: The dealer or any person leaving a memorial in the Cemetery property without a proper permit or inspection does so at his/her own risk and Management assumes no responsibility for the installation or safety of the memorial.

III. DESIGN AND EMBLEM

3-A: Copyrighted or trademarked images cannot appear without proper written and recorded copyright permission.

3-B: All religious motifs shall be executed in reverent taste. The Management has the right to reject any memorial which does not comply with the Rules and Regulations or which is not consonant with Catholic doctrine.

3-C: A religious cross of at least 1.5 inches in length and properly proportioned must be incorporated within the design of every memorial. Members of non-Christian faiths may be allowed an exemption by directing their request to Cemetery Management. No inscription, design, or emblem which offends against religious proprieties, traditional usage, Church discipline or good taste shall be permitted.

3-D: Management reserves the right to restrict size, style, color, font, and adornment.

IV: INSCRIPTIONS

4-A: For added inscription or emblem, the memorial dealer shall submit the exact form of said inscription for approval by Management.

4-B: Any dealer wanting to clean or cut an inscription must first present written authorization from the account holder of record and obtain a permit from the Cemetery Office.

V: MEMORIAL TYPES

5-A: Memorials acceptable must be of either Granite or Bronze material and either shall be permitted as to the size and type as stated within the Rules and Regulations

5-B: No memorial shall be allowed on any grave, crypt, or niche until all charges have been paid in full.

5-C: Only one flush type memorial will be permitted on each grave.

5-D: Upright Monuments are only permitted on graves so designated.

5-E: Memorial sizes are restricted to:
  • 10x20: Standard Cremation Grave
  • 10x20: Standard Child Grave— contact cemetery for other sizes permitted.
  • 16x28: Standard Adult Grave
  • 18x36 Standard Side x Side Grave
  • 20x28: Lawn Crypt **
  • 20x40: Lawn Crypt Side x Side **

5-F: All granite must be not less than three inches thick and trimmed to within 1/2 inch of the outside dimensions. The memorials shall have sawed backs and sawed vertical margins of not less than one inch. Perimeter surface edges are to carry a bevel of not less that 1/8 inch or no more than 1/4 inch.

5-G: Bronze memorials must be backed and secured to a 3 inch slab of concrete or granite. Granite border can be 2” larger in width and height than memorial

5-H: No cement borders permitted.

** In designated areas with cored vase holes.
 

VI. GENERAL RULES

6-A: Soliciting memorial sales by outside dealers within the cemetery is not permitted.

6-B: Individuals or organizations performing work within the cemetery property must first present Management with proof of liability and Workers Compensation insurance, requirement details are available at the office.

6-C: The Rules enumerated herein pertain generally to memorialization and are part of the broader Rules and Regulations, a copy of which is available by request at the office.

6-D: The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to the cemetery and to refuse the use of any equipment and facilities to any person as the rules, judgment and tradition may dictate.
